We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a great organization in Chestertown, Maryland. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be a key player in the Human Resources team, focusing on sourcing and hiring the best talent for the organization. You will manage the full cycle of recruitment processes and ensure the hiring goals are met efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Execute effective recruitment strategies for assigned job openings
• Screen, interview, and present offers to candidates while ensuring a positive experience for them
• Collaborate with the team to enhance the employer branding efforts
• Utilize recruiting metrics to drive decisions and develop strategies
• Ensure all recruiting procedures are compliant with regulations and policies
• Stay updated on the company’s organizational structure, personnel policy, and legal requirements regarding employment practices
• Support the HR team in various tasks and assist with special projects as needed
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
• Collaborate across the organization with a customer service-oriented approach
• Possesses a minimum of 1 year experience in a Talent Acquisition role• Proficient in using Applicant Track Systems for efficient recruitment processes
• Experience in conducting Background Checks for potential hires
• Demonstrated experience in Corporate Recruiting, with a focus on sourcing and hiring top talent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to use judgment in assessing potential hires
• Proficiency in using various recruitment tools and platforms
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, and independently when required
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented nature
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
