Job Description
Assemble door handles and liftgate handles for a Tier 1 automotive supplier. The parts are all plastic and light, but will increase in quantity. The job requires working 8-10 hour shifts, standing for the entire duration, and rotating between 8 assembly areas every two hours. Occasionally, operators may stay in one spot for the entire shift.
Responsibilities- Place parts in the correct fixture and in the right order.
- Start on easier stations and rotate through more complex ones.
- Assemble small hardware pieces and plastic parts into fixtures.
- Set up machines to assemble parts.
- Pack, inspect, and label assembled parts.
- Meet assembly speed requirements by assembling a certain number of parts per hour.
- Rotate every two hours to a different station.
- Pack raw plastic parts into totes, sort, inspect, assemble, and trim excess plastic from freshly molded parts.
- Pack and hang parts before paint application and inspect for defects after painting and drying.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muskegon, Michigan.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.94 - $16.70
