School Psychologist

Location: Hampstead, NH

Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team in Hampstead, NH. The School Psychologist will play a vital role in supporting students' mental health and academic success. This position involves conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with educators and parents to create a positive and supportive school environment.

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid New Hampshire School Psychologist certification

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students' emotional and behavioral well-being
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional, social, and academic challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on mental health issues and classroom strategies
  • Participate in school crisis intervention and response planning
  • Advocate for students and provide resources for families to support their children's mental health needs

Certifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire School Psychologist certification
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
