Job Details for the Direct Support Professional DSP:
- Competitive compensation up to $19 per hour
- Hours 3p-11p, weekdays and weekends required
- Covering needs in and around Newfoundland, pa

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is a vital position that involves providing compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities or medical conditions. As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for these individuals through various activities and assistance.
Responsibilities for the Direct Support Professional DSP:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medications according to prescribed guidelines.
- Support individuals in their educational or vocational activities.
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments and provide transportation if needed.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
Requirements for the Direct Support Professional DSP:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
