ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. We have multiple full-time positions available, each offering a unique opportunity to support students with varying needs.

Position Details:

  • Type: W2 Contract
  • Pay Rate: Starting at $40 - $45 per hour
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • School Year: 8/21/2024 - 6/3/2025

Available Positions:

  1. K-2nd Grade Self-Contained SPED:

    • Caseload: Severe/nonverbal
    • Requirements: Proficiency in behavior plans and life skills

  2. 2nd/3rd Grade Structured SPED:

    • Requirements: Experience with structured SPED programs

  3. 3rd-5th Grade Core Program:

    • Requirements: Experience with core SPED programs

Requirements:

  • LBS1 and PEL Required
  • Valid state Special Education Teaching License
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with varying needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based activities
  • Create a safe and engaging learning environment
