Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Welder who specializes in build-up welding to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This role involves stacking weld on weld to fill gaps for repair on various equipment. Our job shop environment is very busy and ever-changing, with a strong reputation for taking care of our employees and retaining them.

Responsibilities
  • Perform build-up welding by stacking weld on weld to repair equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
  • Conduct fabrication and structural steel welding.
  • Repair and refurbish equipment to be sent back out in the field.
  • Ensure high-quality welding standards are met and maintained.
  • Adapt to the fast-paced and ever-changing job shop environment.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Tig and Mig welding.
  • Experience with build-up welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong fabrication skills.
  • Knowledge of structural steel welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous build-up welding experience is required.
  • Welding certifications are not mandatory but preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a good base level of knowledge in welding and fabrication.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
