Staff Pharmacist - Acute Care Hospital - Ashland, WI

We are seeking a hospital pharmacist ata dedicated healthcare team in Ashland, WI.This role offers a chance to work in an acute care setting, providing direct impact on patient outcomes and contributing to a supportive healthcare environment.

Duties:

• Review medication orders for therapy appropriateness, including dose, form, regimen, and potential interactions.
• Provide pharmacokinetics/anticoagulation dosing support.
• Perform clinical services such as medication reconciliation and discharge education.
• Oversee pharmaceutical compounding adhering to USP regulatory guidelines, including USP 797.
• Utilize Epic and Omnicell systems for medication management.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Certifications: BLS required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent acute hospital experience.
  • Familiarity with Epic and Automated Dispensing Cabinets (Omnicell preferred).
• Retail experience not considered for this position.

Schedule/Shift:

• Shift Options:
  • 6:30 AM 7:00 PM (12-hour shift with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
  • 8:00 AM 4:00 PM.
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
