Virtual Special Education Teacher - Illinois
Job Type: Remote, Contract, Part-time

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education teacher for our Illinois school district. This is a part-time, virtual position providing personalized learning experiences for students with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and collaborating with educational assistants to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the diverse needs of students.
  • Utilize virtual teaching tools and platforms to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Apply behavioral intervention strategies to support positive behavior and emotional regulation.
  • Create a positive and inclusive virtual classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with educational assistants
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Special Education certification in IL
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a virtual setting.
  • Strong proficiency in virtual teaching tools and technologies.


Salary and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $33-$39. Dependent on experience and school district budget.
  • Weekly Pay
  • Work from home flexibility
