We are seeking a Pharmacist to become part of our team as a Nuclear Pharmacist in Birmingham, AL. Don't worry if you don't have nuclear experience - we will train you in the nuclear aspect of the role. This is a full-time position with great pay and benefits Seasoned pharmacists or new graduates are welcome to apply

Position Details

Pay: $120,000 to $135,000 + 8% bonus

Shift:

  • Monday-Friday

  • Night: 12:30am-9am

  • No weekends

Qualifications
  • Alabama Pharmacy License (or eligible)

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Familiarity with Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Quality Control

  • Any clinical or retail pharmacy experience (Does not have to be nuclear experience. Will train)

  • Any amount of years of experience welcome. Will train

  • New grads are welcome

Additional Requirements
  • 20/20 vision and not be color blind

  • Flexibility to work alternative shifts

  • Be able to lift 70-100 lbs 3 inches x10 per shift

  • Must be able to travel to Knoxville, TN for 2 weeks during onboarding

Relevant Prior Experience

Experience in one of these roles is beneficial:

  • Pharmacist

  • Nuclear Pharmacist

  • Clinical Pharmacist

  • Radio pharmacist

  • Pharmaceutical Scientist

  • Pharmacy Manager

  • Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary

This position is ideal for an ambitious professional seeking career advancement as a Nuclear Pharmacist. Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing radionuclides

  • Preparing and testing radiopharmaceuticals

  • Dispensing radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring compliance with cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws, and other regulations

  • Overseeing pharmacy operations and staff in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager

  • Ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques, sterility, pyrogen testing, and quality control procedures

  • Maintaining records

  • Preparing radioactive shipments

  • Supporting the operation and maintenance of cyclotron and QC equipment
