  • Operate mill gun to sand and deburr metal parts
  • Sand and grind edges of aerospace blades and wheels
  • Perform visual inspections of aerospace parts
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Use hand cranes to move parts into work area
Essential Skills
  • Experience within a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating Heavy Industrial Machinery (Stamping Presses, Punch Presses)
  • 2+ years of Heavy Industrial Machine Operating experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Willingness to work all shifts
  • Willingness to work overtime (up to 64 hours per week)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with burn table, shear, drill press, foundry, press brake, machine operation, forging, heat treat, metal stamping, metal finishing, steel manufacturing, steel plant, steel saw, press machine, punch press, and machine operating
  • Comfortable working in hot and cold environments
  • Experience with documentation for inspection

Work Environment

This is a heavy industrial manufacturing environment where metals weighing anywhere from 20 - 350 lbs are inspected. The environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. There are no physical lifting requirements as metals are moved via crane or automated robot. Inspectors will have assigned work stations but will move around to perform different quality testing. Our company is a global leader in forged wheels for commercial vehicles, using differentiated technology to provide strength and weight savings.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Newburgh Heights, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50794.00 - $59675.00

• Supplementary pay plan – in addition to salary OT is paid in blocks of 2 hours ($125), 4 hours ($250), 8 hours ($500)
• Will be paid $250/month for working 3rd (shift differential)
• Medical starts day one
• 401k competitive = matches 100% of earnings up to 6% add another 3% - total 9% match
• Vest from day 1

• Will send these employees to different schooling programs
• supervisors have great tenure – haven’t hired one in a long time
• Stable/tenured group - a lot of knowledge in this plant
