Job Description

As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the quality of machinery and products. This position involves frequent bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds, performing PC functions related to maintenance, and working alongside a maintenance technician for repairs and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for entering parts inventory into the work system, completing work orders, and purchasing requisitions for parts.

Responsibilities
  • Frequent bending and lifting of 50 pounds
  • Perform PC functions related to maintenance
  • Work alongside a maintenance technician to complete repairs and troubleshooting
  • Ensure the quality of machinery and products
  • Enter parts inventory into the work system
  • Complete work orders, including comments and parts associated with work orders
  • Purchase requisitions for parts
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Problem-solving and repair
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of pneumatics
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Experience in a chemical environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Industrial Maintenance or similar field OR equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training

Work Environment

Work in a clean and well-maintained chemical environment. This is a third shift position with hours from Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Mandatory overtime is required, consistently starting at 8:30 PM.
