Job Description:
A Batch Maker is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing batches of products in a manufacturing or production setting. This role involves measuring and mixing ingredients, following recipes or formulas, and ensuring the quality and consistency of the final product. Batch Makers typically work in industries such as food production, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, and more. Key responsibilities include:
• Ingredient Preparation: Measure and weigh ingredients according to specified recipes or formulas.
• Mixing: Combine ingredients in the correct order and proportions, using industrial equipment or hand tools.
• Quality Control: Ensure the quality, consistency, and adherence to product specifications during the batching process.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of batch production, including ingredient quantities, batch numbers, and production times.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other production team members to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing process.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring ingredient and supply levels and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
