Machine Operator

This position is responsible for the set-up, clean up, and production associated with the packing of cream cheese products. The role involves operating production line equipment, setting up labelers, inspecting products, and assisting with packaging and other departments as needed.
Shift: 6:00am–6:00pm OR 6:00pm–6:00am (2 days on 3 days off & 3 days on 2 days off so must be available to work weekends)
Responsibilities- Operate production line equipment including packers, positive pumps, processors, and labelers.
- Set up labelers, install heat seals on products, and assemble positive pumps.
- Inspect products and load cups into boxers (twisting wrist and gripping).
- Assist with packaging products into boxes for shipping.
- Assist other departments with finishing the product at any point of the production line.
- Experience in production and machine operation.
- General labor and machine operating skills.
- Understanding of blueprints and mechanical knowledge.
- Forklift operating skills.
- Efficiency and quality in packaging operation, including meeting specifications for cup weight, counts, yield, and product codes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent loading of cups into boxers (twisting wrist and gripping).
- Willingness to assist with packaging products and other tasks as needed.
