ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional for a full-time role in Erie, Colorado. This position is 32.5 hours per week, supporting K-12 students in a high-needs LEADS classroom with complex autism communication behaviors. The position is for the remainder of the school year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with autism and communication challenges.
  • Assist in the implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans.
  • Work alongside teachers and BCBAs to ensure a safe, engaging, and structured classroom environment.
  • Support students with academic tasks, social skills, and behavior regulation.
  • Maintain communication with staff to track student progress.

Requirements

  • Experience working with students with autism or other special needs is preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage behaviors and provide emotional support.
  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional is a plus but not required.
