We are currently searching for a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team, focused on improving students communication skills and academic achievements.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist who will provide exceptional therapy services to students with a variety of needs. The ideal candidate will assess students speech and language skills, create individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support each students educational and developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language abilities. Create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and set therapy objectives based on assessment results and individual student needs.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Deliver direct speech and language therapy, focusing on articulation, language skills, and communication strategies. Design and implement therapeutic activities to enhance students' communication and academic performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with educators, special education personnel, and families to weave speech and language strategies into classroom practices and daily activities. Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for communication supports and adjustments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress, therapy plans, and session notes. Prepare documentation for IEP meetings, progress reviews, and regulatory compliance.
  • Professional Development: Keep current with the latest developments in speech-language pathology and special education. Engage in ongoing training to expand your expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience: Background in a school setting or experience working with children with diverse needs. Familiarity with IEP development and implementation is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology techniques and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to student needs.
