Sr. Associate Actuary

A leading insurance company is looking for a Senior Associate, Actuarial, to make a significant impact in advancing innovative insurance solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals with strong technical expertise and a drive for innovation who are actively pursuing their ASA designation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of actuarial models using platforms such as GGY AXIS, Prophet, or similar tools.
- Perform experience studies, data analysis, and assumption development to drive strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and actuarial projections for statutory, GAAP, and/or IFRS reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pricing, valuation, and risk management, to support product development and risk assessments.
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives, leveraging tools such as SQL, Python, or VBA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of actuarial experience, preferably within the life or annuity insurance industry.
- Progress toward ASA designation, with at least 3-4 SOA exams passed.
- Proficiency in actuarial modeling software (e.g., GGY AXIS, Prophet) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
