Mammography Technologist
We are currently seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract position. The role requires a dedicated professional with at least 2 years of experience in performing mammography procedures, including breast biopsy experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammography exams, ensuring accurate imaging results and patient comfort.
- Conduct breast biopsy procedures and assist in the patient care process.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Document procedures and results in the electronic medical record (EMR) system as required.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, including breast biopsy experience.
- ARRT certification in Mammography (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of mammography imaging techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts:
- Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Varying shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- One Saturday per month from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
This is a contract position with a focus on delivering excellent patient care and maintaining high standards of quality in imaging procedures. The Mammography Technologist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
