We are searching for an experienced interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or Director of Pharmacy (DOP) to lead the pharmacy operations at a 25-bed critical access hospital in rural Northern California. This role blends staffing and administrative duties, with the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and operational leadership. Youll ensure smooth pharmacy services while supervising a team, consulting with healthcare providers, and handling clinical responsibilities.

• Perform 75% staffing duties, including order verification, pharmacokinetics, and direct patient care.
• Handle 25% administrative responsibilities, such as supervising technicians and managing pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Ensure pliance with state and federal regulations.
• Serve as the go-to expert for all pharmacy-related processes.

• Holds an active California Pharmacist license.
• Brings prior hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a leadership or PIC role.
• Excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing clinical and operational responsibilities.
• Possesses excellent munication and leadership skills.

• Current and unrestricted California Pharmacist license.
• Proven expertise in hospital pharmacy settings.
• Availability for a 13-week contract, with flexibility for potential extensions.
• Willingness to work in a rural healthcare setting.
