School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location:Wixom, MI
Start Date: ASAP
Position Type: Full-Time
Grade Levels: K-12

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team and provide prehensive speech and language services to students in grades K-12. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students munication needs and fostering their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy as needed.
  • Provide guidance and resources to teachers and staff regarding speech and language development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
  • Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
