Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPayroll Clerk – Woodbridge, NJ LHH is proactively recruiting for a Payroll Clerk in Woodbridge, NJ. This position is Contract to Hire (Temp to possible Perm). 100% onsite. The anticipated pay rate is between $18-$20/hr. depending on experience. Need someone to start ASAP. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
Responsibilities:
Update employee information into company’s database
Audit payroll and make corrections
Resolving timecard sheets
Will be in charge of processing and mailing checks to different companies
Answer any questions regarding payroll to employees
Verify reports for timekeeping
Qualifications:
Must have 1 year experience with Payroll
H.S. Diploma
Must be proficient in ADP Payforce, and skilled with Excel
Employment type: Contract to Hire
Salary: The anticipated pay rate is between $18-$20/hr.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
