Caseload:Elementary & High School students

We are currently working with a great school district near Odessawho isseeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the current school year. Interviews are being conducted now
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active Delaware OT License.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom setting.
- Deliver direct therapy services focused on motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques.
- Develop and lead training sessions for educators and parents on strategies to support students with various needs.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend related meetings.
