Job Title: Special Education Teacher (K-12 Caseload)
Location:Brooklyn Park, MN

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Competitive Hourly and Weekly Pay

We are now hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a K-12 caseload. This full-time, onsite position will allow you to work closely with a diverse group of students, helping them thrive academically and socially. You will be part of a supportive team of educators committed to creating a positive learning environment for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying disabilities in a K-12 setting.
  • Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the educational needs of students.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure student success.
  • Regularly assess and track student progress, making adjustments as needed to support learning goals.
  • Manage classroom behavior, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field required.
  • Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License.
  • Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, case management, and special education laws.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for working with students with special needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
