Teacher's Assistant

In this role, youll work closely with teachers to provide additional support and guidance for students with diverse learning needs in a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Job Description

• Full time
• M-F
• 32.5 hours per week
• Elementary caseload
• Caseload: classroom aide and 1:1; moderate/severe andemotional impairment disabilities
• Responsibilities: assist with the implementation of IEPs, including self-help, behavioral management, and instructional programs
• Toileting/diapering will be required

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Experience working with children
• Experience working with Special Education populations is a plus
• Comfortable with toileting/diapering/feeding
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Reliable Transportation
• Pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

• 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
• 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with district
• Offer is typically within 24 hours ofinterview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
