Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of HR principles and best practices to support our employees and management team. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about people and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Support talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, candidate screenings, and interview coordination.
Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment and communication of plan details.
Provide guidance to management and staff on HR-related matters.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with applicable laws.
Assist with training and development initiatives to enhance employee performance and engagement.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and compliance regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
