Job Description

Oversee a workforce of 4-5 employees and manage the production plan to ensure resources are deployed effectively on a daily basis. Focus on skill set, experience, and project schedule as key indicators. Create and oversee an employee training schedule that emphasizes quality, productivity, and resource conservation. Evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency, create production metrics, and enforce safety policies and procedures. Assume responsibility for manufacturing, packaging, and shipping processes in the plant. Inspect equipment prior to shipment to ensure accurate labeling and record keeping. Maintain open lines of communication between employees and management and ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.

2nd Shift: 4:30pm-3am

$25-$30/hr

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a workforce of 4-5 employees.
  • Manage the production plan to assure resources are deployed on a daily basis considering skill set, experience, and project schedule.
  • Create and oversee an employee training schedule emphasizing quality, productivity, and resource conservation.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Create production metrics to drive understanding and leading indicators for adjustment.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job.
  • Assume a role on the safety committee as assigned.
  • Assume responsibility for manufacturing, packaging, and shipping processes in the plant.
  • Inspect equipment prior to shipment to ensure accurate labeling and record keeping.
  • Maintain open lines of communication between employees and management.
  • Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
Essential Skills
  • 1+ years of management or lead experience in a fabrication company
  • Experience in fabrication
  • Leadership skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • CO2 laser experience is preferred
