Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Selbyville, DE. This full-time position involves providing a range of psychological services to support the mental health and educational development of students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies and interventions to support student learning and mental health.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and provide recommendations.
• Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.

Qualifications:

• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to promoting the mental health and educational success of students.
