Job Title: Travel Mammography Technologist - Day Shift

Shift: 12 Hour Shifts, Day Shift (Occasional Evenings and Some Saturdays)

Job Description: Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and independently adaptable Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Indianapolis, IN. This role primarily involves day shifts with occasional evenings and some Saturdays, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced Mammography Technologists to work in a supportive and dynamic environment. No on-call duties required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms using Hologic Mammo Units.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment.
• Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
• Maintain patient records and documentation using EPIC.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Demonstrate excellence in patient care and technical performance.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Mammography.
• Valid Indiana state license in Mammography Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Mammography Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Proficiency with EPIC and Hologic Mammo Units.
• Strong understanding of mammography safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent technical skills in operating mammography equipment.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and some Saturdays.
• Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
