Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Westwood, MA
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 15th
Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week
Caseload: Mix of evaluations throughout the district and a small portion of elementary K-5 caseload
Population & Age Group: Kindergarten to 5th Grade

We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team immediately for the remainder of the school year, with a flexible work schedule and the potential for continued opportunities. This position involves conducting evaluations across the district and providing speech services for a small group of elementary-aged students (K-5).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students district-wide.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language delays or disorders.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to elementary school students (K-5) with a variety of munication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure students' needs are being met.
  • Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience with K-5 students preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational and munication skills.
  • Clinical Fellows (CF) are wele to apply.

Flexible Hours:

  • Daily Start Time: Flexible between 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Daily End Time: Flexible between 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Approximately 35 hours per week, with the ability to adjust hours to fit your schedule.
