Quality Control Inspector

Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Control Specialist for a top manufacturing company in Fremont, CA.
As a Quality Control Specialist you will:
• Perform cosmetics, overall workmanship and packing configuration check based on random
sampling plan.
• Check information accuracy on w/o, travel card, and shipping information.
• Responsible for checking labeled unit boxes in final packaging and releasing them to warehouse.
• Ensure that all related shipping paperwork is completed. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
• Create and maintain documentation, maintain database for accuracy. Create written reports.
• Responsible for inspecting and/or auditing instruments/equipment, sub-assemblies, and accessories as per current procedure and specification and release them.
• Conduct product surface inspection and detail check.

• Perform inspection on all parts, assemblies and completed product to assure compliance with customer standards.
• Receive, check in, forward subassemblies and accessories to the next processing station.
• Monitor special process operations to verify compliance and documents all activities in writing.
• Performing visual inspections on product in the manufacturing line
• Sampling finish product from packaging line.
• Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards.
This position is temp to hire, M-F starting at 8am.
Requirements:
• 1 year of quality control inspection
• Strong computer and communication skills
Pay rate: 20/hr.
