Position Information:

  • Location: Remote
  • Position Type: Full-time, 7:45am - 3:15pm
  • Caseload: 60 Pre-K to 3rd grade students (mild-moderate)
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • End Date: May 2025, with the option of rehiring for August 2025 (if preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a caseload of students with speech-related disabilities, providing services according to their IEPs using the MOIEP system.
  • Deliver speech therapy services, monitor student progress, and adjust therapy plans as necessary to achieve IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with school staff and communicate with parents to ensure coordinated support and address any student concerns.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, and IEP updates within the MOIEP system.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills and a dedication to supporting children and families
  • CCC-SLP certification
  • Maryland teaching certification
  • Experience with MOIEP is preferred
  • Professional Liability Insurance (upon offer)
  • Reliable home computer with high-speed internet
  • Tech-savvy, with training on the software provided
