Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Madison, CT. The RBT will work closely with students, providing one-on-one behavioral support and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students academic and social-emotional success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with autism and related developmental disabilities.
- Monitor and record data on student behavior and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies.
- Support the development of students communication, social, and life skills.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a school setting as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
