Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cabinet Assembler for our brand new distribution center in Ashland, VA. This role involves the basic assembly of pre-fabricated cabinet units, which are offered as an additional service to our customers. The vast majority of orders are sent disassembled on pallets.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pre-fabricated cabinet units using pneumatic drills, tape measures, and screwdrivers.
• Ensure accurate and efficient assembly of cabinet units according to provided blueprints.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the distribution center.
• Handle general labor tasks as needed, demonstrating manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a high standard of quality.

Essential Skills

• Experience with production and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including pneumatic drills, tape measures, and screwdrivers.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to be cross-trained for order selecting and shipping tasks.
• Experience with electric pallet jacks and reach trucks is a plus.

This position is based in a clean and organized distribution center in Ashland, VA. The facility is equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to perform assembly tasks efficiently. The work environment is supportive, with opportunities for cross-training in order selecting and shipping, utilizing electric pallet jacks and reach trucks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
