Special Education Teacher

Are you comitted toensuring that all students, regardless of their abilities, receive the individualized support and resources they need to succeed?ProCare Therapy is currently searching for an experienced and and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join one of our trusted school districts situated in beautiful Chicago Ridge, Illinois.As Special Education Teacher in this role,you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with significant cognitive, physical, or emotional disabilities.

Job Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • 32.75 hours per week
  • ASAP - June 6, 2025
  • Middle school caseload
  • More details to be discussed upon interview

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
  • Active State Teaching License withAlternative Provisional Educator Endorsement
  • Active State Certification
  • PEL
  • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
