Job Description

Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuild manufacturing equipment and perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers. Ensure the quality of work to meet or exceed customer satisfaction. Communicate professionally with machine manufacturers, parts suppliers, and sub-contractors. Manage parts ordered with suppliers and manage machine sub-contractors to ensure they meet safety requirements and company protocols. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual TPM activities for all equipment to ensure overall efficiency, reducing downtime and maximizing uptime. Maintain relationships with key third-party vendors and OEM manufacturers to identify critical spare parts for key equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose problems in electro-mechanical equipment

  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
  • Rebuild and modify manufacturing equipment as directed
  • Ensure the quality of work to meet or exceed customer satisfaction
  • Communicate professionally with machine manufacturers, parts suppliers, and sub-contractors
  • Manage parts orders with suppliers
  • Ensure machine sub-contractors meet safety requirements and company protocols
  • Perform TPM activities regularly to ensure equipment efficiency

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled machine shop with a variety of CNC machines, including 5-axis, 4-axis, 3-axis, and 2-axis models. The shop operates on a flexible shift from 7am-3pm, customizable to your preference as long as you are present during the day.
