We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school team in Clifton, NJ, for the 2024-2025 school year. As a BCBA, you will play a key role in helping students with behavioral challenges achieve success in the academic and social environments. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement behavioral strategies that support positive outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and create individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Provide ongoing consultation and support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff in implementing behavior management strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral interventions through data collection and analysis.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and ensure behavioral goals align with student needs.
- Train and mentor staff on data collection, behavior intervention techniques, and crisis management.
- Provide direct services to students, including individual or group sessions focused on behavioral skills.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure consistency of behavioral interventions across home and school settings.
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
- Current BCBA certification.
- Experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral principles, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and school team.
