About the Role: Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to support students' development? ProCare Therapy is looking for a skilled OT to join our team in San Jacinto, CA. In this role, you'll be instrumental in helping students from TK-12th grade develop essential skills within a supportive school environment.
Your Impact:
- Role: Full-time position in a dynamic and engaging school setting.
- Setting: Onsite, providing vital occupational therapy services to students from TK-12th grade.
- Focus: Working with students to enhance their functional skills and independence.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM.
What You'll Do:
- Assess and Plan: Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized therapy plans.
- Intervene and Support: Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve students' motor skills and daily activities.
- Collaborate: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide comprehensive support.
- Monitor and Adjust: Track student progress and modify therapy plans as needed.
- Engage: Provide engaging one-on-one or small group therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs.
A Day in the Life: Start your day with a warm welcome from your colleagues and students. Mornings may involve conducting assessments or therapy sessions focused on skill development. By midday, collaborate with teachers and parents to discuss strategies and student progress. Spend the afternoon delivering additional therapy sessions, documenting progress, and planning for future sessions.
What Were Looking For:
- Licensure: Active Occupational Therapist license in California.
- Experience: Experience with a range of disabilities preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with a passion for a school-based role.
