Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic III to perform assembly, fitting, and fabrication of aircraft parts and structures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures.

  • Conduct drilling and riveting operations.

  • Carry out sheetmetal layout, fabrication, and installation.

  • Rivet structural members using various tools.

  • Remove fasteners without damaging structures.

  • Read work orders, blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets.

  • Instruct team members on blueprints and engineering orders.

  • Maintain logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs).

  • Align and assemble parts using jigs and fixtures.

  • Shape complex angles per blueprint specifications.

  • Make repairs as per DMTs, MRRs, PCOs.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 4 years related structural assembly experience.

  • Skilled in close tolerance work with special tools/equipment.

  • Ability to work with composite resins/materials.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

  • Q-stamp preferred.

  • Aircraft experience preferred.

 



Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
