Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in Ashville, AL. This full-time, school-based role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and families in the community. Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state SLP licensure
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Experience working with special education students and families preferred
  • Ability to meet all requirements set by local and state regulations

Job Duties:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one or group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social-emotional development
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of job performance
