Job Title:Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location:Higganum, CT

We are seeking a compassionate and experiencedRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT)to join our team full-time in Higganum, CT. This role is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting students in their educational journey.
Job Overview:
As a full-time RBT, you will work with students to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary responsibility will be to assist students in developing positive behaviors, achieving IEP goals, and navigating their educational environment successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed by the BCBA.
- Provide one-on-one support to students in academic and social settings.
- Monitor and document student progress and behavioral data with accuracy.
- Foster positive and supportive relationships with students, educators, and families.
- Adapt strategies to meet the specific needs of each student while maintaining consistency with their BIP.
- Participate in training, team meetings, and supervision as required.
Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification.
- Experience working with children or students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or other developmental disabilities (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement behavioral strategies with fidelity.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for helping students thrive.
