Qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of 1-2 year of related experience.
  • Experience working in lean, continuous improvement manufacturing environment preferred
  • Prior experience working in material and Kanban execution environments preferred.
  • Experience working with Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory accuracy and ordering materials as setup by the Planner/Buyer
  • Physically perform and transact cycle counts in Oracle. Reconcile bad counts.
  • De-trash and present material to the production area ready for optimum use by the operator.
  • Sustain and improve material presentations in the cells applying FBS tools including Fortive Material System (FMS) and 5S.
  • Use a pallet jack to move materials between receiving, factory floor and distribution center
  • Expedite internal material requirements, transferring inventory to multiple locations including MRB.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data from production processes requiring basic mathematical knowledge. Counts, sorts, labels, and packages assembled materials.
  • Expected to participate in continuous improvement and Lean processes as appropriate
  • Lead Material planning, policy deployment, and plan execution.
