Warehouse Maintenance Technician

Gojob is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician for a leading logistics warehouse located in Locust Grove, GA. This position is responsible for minor repairs, assisting in maintenance, janitorial functions, and other general duties. Must be willing and able to be certified on powered industrial equipment and able to work at heights of 40 ft or more.

Shift & Pay:
- Mon-Fri, 7am - 3pm - $21/hr
- Overtime/Weekends as needed or directed
- Expected to work various shifts and/or hours as needed including holidays to support the facility’s needs
Responsibilities:
- Maintain facility and equipment for continuous operation and required repairs.
- Adhere to all safety/security procedures and applicable laws.
- Cleaning and other Preventative Maintenance tasks for equipment including conveyor systems.
- Repair of conveyor belts, motors, rollers, beds and guides.
- Assist with Facilities maintenance and repairs including plumbing, lighting, roofing, HVAC and other as needed or directed.
- Assists with maintaining inventory of company supplied tools.
- Performs general facility maintenance (light bulb replacement, office furniture relocation, plumbing, electrical repairs, etc.)
- Safely utilize manual and electronic equipment to transport cartons or other items by means of pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying
**Qualifications: **
- High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will also consider experience and/or military service.
- Knowledge in maintenance of equipment and facilities
- 1+ year of experience in a maintenance capacity
- Adept at analyzing and resolving mechanical and technical issues
- Excellent hand and eye coordination skills
- Ability to read, recognize, write, and follow applicable numbers and directives (verbal and written) in English
- Command of basic math skills to ensure accurate inventory
- Command of safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out)
- Able to frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing, pulling of freight, standing for long periods of time
- Able to sometimes work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work at heights of 40ft or more
