Randstad is hiring several people to work the third shift in Norwood with our client, a leading pharmaceutical company.
We have different third shifts available:
Monday-Fridasy 10pm-6am - this has a 20% shift differential added to the base pay.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6pm-6am - this has a 37% shift differential added to the base pay.
You will work as a Material Handlers/Logistics Associate with our client.
- In this role, you will be responsible for all material handling (receiving, storage, picking, shipping preparation at the warehouse) and shipping from the Site.
- As the Norwood manufacturing facility expands production capacities, including insourcing INT, plasmid and buffers, we will have more production trains and materials to plan.
- This role will also be responsible for handling an increase in logistical requirements as development candidates increase in number and advance to later phases of clinical trials, including distribution to clinical testing sites and eventually external customers and patients.
Here's What You'll Do:
- Support Outbound Operations during the operating hours
- Pick and Pack outgoing shipments
- Schedule and track shipments with approved couriers
- Receiving goods and materials through ERP management system, inspect and prioritize distribution of goods, materials, supplies and/or products ensuring accurate quantities and completing records.
- Handling material ensuring compliance throughout warehouse operations.
- Labeling material according to internal procedures.
- Shipping goods and materials in accordance to the requisition and internal procedures.
- Create shipping documents for domestic and international shipping.
- Complete and ensure the accuracy of records.
- Transport materials, supplies and/or products.
- Transfers materials to and from storage areas and ensure accurate quantities and completing records.
- Inventory Control: document all transactions/movements and perform physical inventory checks/reconciliations.
- Other responsibilities include: proper storage, picking/packing, label printing, cycle counting, maintaining required logs, records, security and safety.
- Practice safe work habits and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to operate warehouse power equipment (forklift, power walkie, stacker, order picker, and pallet trucks)
- This position may require medical surveillance to maintain regulatory compliance or company Standards.
Here's What You'll Need (Required Qualifications)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have 6 months of PIT (Powered Industrial Truck/Forklift experience)
- 0-2 years of experience in Warehouse Operations and Shipping
Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
- BS/BA Degree preferred
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, Pharmaceutical, or related field.
- Ability to lift and move products
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Ability to collaborate fluidly with peers, supervisors and cross functional support groups required
- Good organizational skills required

PAY: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour plus a 20% or a 37% shift differential for 3rd shift.
SCHEDULE: M-F 10pm-6am or Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6pm-6am
ASSIGNMENT: 6 months with potential to extend (can't guarantee)
Responsibilities
- Safely transport product, equipment and materials (buffers, drug substance) from the warehouse to designated areas in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and EHS requirements in support of the manufacture of mRNA medicines
- Assist manufacturing, QA and logistics colleagues manufacturing colleagues in other activities as required
- Strict adherence to current good manufacturing practices, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
- Establish and follow written procedures for the clear and accurate documentation of equipment operation and process instructions, and of process data.
- Practice safe work habits and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Complete documentation of activities in accordance with established procedures
- Immediate notification of production management of deviations to established processes or procedures
- Adhere to gowning procedures and maintain a clean general operating area.
- Adhere to documented waste handling procedures to respect environmental regulations.
- Safeguard against injury to him/herself and all adjacent work colleagues
