LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Settlement Operations Specialist for a large global banking client. This is a 6-month contract assignment with one of the world’s leading and most stable banks. The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience supporting settlement functions in a brokerage setting. Please continue reading and apply if interested.

 

Primary Duties:

  • Carry out settlement tasks used to process and settle multiple American Depositary Receipts (ADR) and Ordinary Shares (ORD) conversions.

  • Processing and settlement of ADR conversions across different markets and platforms.

  • Daily interactions via email and phone calls with clients, international settlement teams, trading desks, branch offices, and other internal operations areas are required.

  • Daily processing tasks include mitigating firm and client risk/exposure by ensuring proper conversion bookings, maintaining consistent and clear client communication, and prioritizing high-value conversions.

  • Responsible for learning and adhering to market rules and quickly grasping settlement responsibilities.

  • Multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting settlement needs.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years of related brokerage operations experience (in stock market supporting investments)

  • Understanding of risk and control issues

  • Ability to create, modify, and use macros in Microsoft Excel

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree

  • Experience with the stock market and supporting investments

  • Ability to escalate appropriately and problem-solving skills

  • Solid oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

 

Location: Onsite initially with potential to transition to hybrid

 

Pay: $20-21/hr



Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
