Volt is immediately hiring an Entry Level-Electrical engineer to support a key client, located in Milwaukee, WI.

As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will:
  • Assist with equipment setup in test chambers per the requirements of the Customer
  • Verify product testing power requirements and facility needs.
  • Review and understand Product Test Plans.
  • Compile test results and complete Test Reports for submittal to Customer.
  • Verify proper equipment is used and calibrations are up to date.
Estimated Durtion-12+ months

The ideal candidate will want to learn:
  • Experience with, or ability to be trained in, NFPA 70E (Training for Electrical Safety in the Workplace)
  • Familiarity working with medium/high voltage equipment (300V DC, 480V 3 Phase AC, Arc Flash Level 2 protection)
  •  Familiarity with NH Research Equipment
  • Experience using wire bonders
  • Experience with data acquisition systems
  • Firm understanding of power fundamentals
  • Ability to read complex electrical diagrams and schematics
  • Ability to use common electrical tools to fabricate electrical devices
  • Experience with electrical research and development
Education:

Technical degree related to Electrical Engineering (open to entry level)

This is a full-time, contingent opportunity.

Pay Rate: $30.00 – 37.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
