We are in search of a Budget Analyst for our team located in BEREA, Kentucky. This role is crucial for providing analytical support for grant budgets and managing all budget transactions for our grant programs. The Budget Analyst will be responsible for ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and grant terms, reviewing transactions, analyzing financial data, and assisting in future planning. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Directors on budget projections and operational planning.
• Educate partners and staff on budgetary and grant expenditure requirements.
• Compile data and prepare reports for annual financial reviews.
• Ensure all expenses are compliant with policies and grant objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and confirm proper documentation.
• Create documents to ensure adherence to budget regulations.

• Possession of a minimum of one year of experience in the role of a Budget Analyst or similar financial position
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Annual Budget preparation and management
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and their implementation
• Strong skills in Cost Analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
