Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in the process of recruiting an Accounting Clerk to join our team. The role is based in Shelby, North Carolina, 28152, United States. The successful candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities including managing billing, overseeing inventory processes, and handling various accounting functions. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are experienced in the finance industry and are looking to further develop their skills.Responsibilities:
• Oversee the effective execution of daily administrative and financial tasks.
• Manage billing, collections, accounts payable, and payroll processes.
• Handle cash management and financial reporting.
• Perform accounting functions such as end-of-month journal entries and charging to the correct accounts.
• Collaborate on the annual development of employee benefits packages.
• Assist in transitioning responsibilities and refining processes where necessary.
• Supervise employees to ensure the smooth operation of all financial tasks.
• Oversee and manage inventory processes, potentially reassigning certain tasks to other staff.
• Work with external IT consultants on system and software management.
• Maintain and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action as required.• Proficient in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to manage Billing processes
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with SAP
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
