- NIGHT WEEKEND6p-6:30a (work 36, get paid for 40)
- NIGHT SHIFT MONDAY-THURSDAY7:30p-6am, M-Th
As a Machinist Trainee, you will be taught how to set up and operate CNC machines, manual mills, and manual lathes to produce precision parts in a timely manner. You will work closely with a trainer, learning step by step the necessary skills and techniques.
Responsibilities- Position and fasten workpieces
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and material onto machines
- Select the appropriate tools and materials to be used
- Machine parts to specifications
- Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools
- Military or farm experience
- Associates degree in machine operating
- Experience working on automobiles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Trainability and a good attitude
- Experience demonstrating teamwork and physical capability
