Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Walsh, TX. In this school-based role, you will provide essential services to students with speech and language disorders, helping them to improve their munication skills and achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students and track their progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide insights on students speech and language needs.
  • Stay informed about the latest practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
