ProCare Therapy is partnering directly with school districts in Anaheim, CA to hire passionate Special Education Teachers. As a valued member of the educational team, you will provide vital support to students with diverse learning needs by creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), offering tailored instruction, and collaborating with staff to ensure student success. This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be employed directly by the school district, allowing you to be fully integrated into the team and benefit from the district's competitive pay and benefits package.
Pay & Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $80,000+ annually (depending on experience and location)

Job Description:

  • Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to support students with various disabilities.
  • Provide Specialized Instruction: Deliver one-on-one or small group instruction based on student needs.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with general education teachers and other school staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are provided.
  • Track Student Progress: Monitor and document student behavior, academic progress, and development.
  • Support Positive Social and Emotional Development: Assist in managing classroom behavior and help promote positive growth for students.
  • Create an Inclusive Learning Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere for all students.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Special Education Teacher in California.
  • Experience: Experience working with students with special needs in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Interview Process:

  1. Initial Screening Call: 10-15 minute call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter.
  2. Virtual Interview: 20-30 minute interview directly with the school district.
  3. Offer: Receive an offer within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
