Location: Lindale, GA
Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Caseload: 1:1 support for an elementary student
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Sign Language Interpreter to provide dedicated support to an elementary student in a school setting near Lindale, GA. The ideal candidate will facilitate effective munication between the student and their peers and educators, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 interpreting services for an elementary student using American Sign Language (ASL).
- Support the student in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement appropriate strategies for munication and learning.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Document services provided and monitor student progress.
Qualifications:
- Active GaPSC License.
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher, in pliance with state requirements.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred.
- Strong munication skills and a mitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
